120222 - FRAN
Total brain fart on my part, forgot to fill you all in on my Fran time.
I haven’t attempted Fran since June 2010. And back then, I used only the 35# barbell and the big band for pull ups.
On February 22nd, I RX-d Fran for the first time and I am happy with my time. Very rare for me to be content with my time/performance (sadly).

120125 - The Deceiver WOD

An oldie but a goodie. This is around the time when I got to Level 1 badass in pushups at 25 reps.
Strength: Strict Press 3×5
55x5, 65x5, 70x3 - disappointed I couldn’t finish the last set.

I stalled on wall balls. Should’ve been able to string them better.
120118 - An RX Kind of Day
Even without knowing the WOD, I wore this shirt yesterday morning that I bought at the OC Throwdown from Life as RX - may I just add that it’s super comfortable.
WOD
3 Rounds for time:
20 Pushups
40 Squats
10 Pullups
10 Burpees
40 Abmats
Time: 16:44 RX
Hardest part was pushing through those push ups and the last set of abmat situps! Hands still a bit delicate since the tear two-timing, but I love bodyweight WOD’s!
111207 - I Did Big Cindy
Whoa daddy. Big Cindy’s a big bitch, but I still kind of love her.

3 rounds + 8 pull ups, RX
PLUS
1 mi run…I did 1/2 mi because 1) calf got very tight (hence the picture of me rolling it out at work) and 2) out of time, had to get ready for work!
Overall I am happy with my rounds and the fact that I RX’d it!
Guess who rose at the butt crack of dawn and made it to CrossFit 310 for the 6 a.m. class? ME.

Something I hate to admit, but that I know has happened, is that I have gotten slightly weaker since I haven’t been able to make it to class as often as I would like (or as I used to). This was brutal for me. Had I been conditioned and steadily going, I know I could have pulled more rounds.

Oh hello WOD I haven’t done since May 3, 2010, only about a month after starting CrossFit. And it wasn’t easier this time around. Well, there’s reason for that.

12:55 RX - Granted, there was technically a cap at 12 minutes but I kept going and was allowed to. Longer than my last time but I also used heavier weights / med ball. This time, it was the running and the med ball cleans that did me dirty. I said it back then, and I’ll say it again, I need to work on my running.
