120116 - OC Throwdown WOD 4
Blazing the trail fresh from the OC Throwdown, we did one the competition WOD’s. My poor hands are still injured from Friday’s WOD, so I wrapped them with my homemade little hand wraps.
Strength/Skill: Back Squat 5 x 3
85, 105, 120, 135, 145 (PR!)
WOD - OC Throwdown WOD 4
6 min AMRAP
5 HSPU
10 OH Squats (95/65)
15 pullups
(4 round max)
= 1 round + 5 HSPU (knees on box) + 10 OH Squats (55#) + 2 pullups
Hands were achey over all but I powered through. But I definitely need to work on my OH Squat form, I struggled stringing them. I’m not as controlled as I should be. Once I nail that I know I can do more weight over head. Also need to work on progressing toward a strict (or kipping) HSPU.
