Throat Demon
There’s this little throat demon lurking in the shadows, being bothersome. I am not entirely sick, but I feel it there, bothering me. I’m doing what I can to fight this because I can’t CrossFit like this, can’t visit Evie, and just WAH. Lots of water, lots of rest (try to since I have to work a thousand hours), tea, and zicam!

Sadly I have not been on Tumblr as much as I used to be because of my new work schedule, but when I do hop on I try to catch up with my fellow fitblrs and also I have the tag “crossfit” saved and I look over any new crossfitters out in this Tumblr world and WOW - there are so many new crossfitters out there with blogs now!!! Even some people I already follow have BECOME crossfitters!!...

An Ode to the CrossFit Box
I have an unashamed love affair with the CrossFit box.  It is so functional, never vain. Its equipment, scarred and scuffed, but always ready for the next battle.  The rowers, the GHDs, the Airdynes–clusters of pain.  Piles of bumpers, the 45s reaching toward the ceiling.
